Planning a night of drinking and bowling with friends is a great way to socialize. Planning a sleepover or several designated drivers for afterwards is an even better idea. Bowling and drinking go together like bacon and eggs; as long as you don’t couple the drinking with driving everyone can have a safe night, lots of fun and live to tell about it the next day.
Time To Let Your Hair Down
Some friends of mine and I used to go bowling every now and then and we would have the time of our lives. Problem was, we could never hit the same bowling alley up twice. We got a little rowdy; but nobody got hurt. It was just good, relatively clean, fun. You take a group of adults (men and women) that work together in semi high stress jobs and throw alcohol into the mix and a fun environment … You know the rest. I’m sure our names are legendary on the lips of the regulars.
Does Anyone Still Go Midnight Bowling?
There used to being a bowling alley in my neighborhood that offered midnight bowling. There was the possibility of a red pin, as opposed to your regular white bowling pins, that could end up at the end of your alley when you were up next. If that red pin ended up as the 1 pin and you got a strike you got a prize. I think it was like a free game or something I don’t exactly remember… Which if you think about it isn’t all that surprising. Bowling doesn’t require an athletic build or any real type of skill, so it’s perfect for everyone regardless of their physical stature or experience level.
So the next time you’re all sitting around bored wondering what to do this Saturday night… Don’t let the others laugh at you when you suggest bowling. You will all end up enjoying yourselves and having way too much fun. Find everything you need, at Bowling Pro Shop.
